Sanjay Shirole, President and CEO
Sanjay Shirole is a seasoned software industry professional and entrepreneur, with over 21 years of experience in software development, technical support, consulting and business management. As co-founder, President and CEO, Sanjay leads Xora's overall business operations.
Prior to Xora, Sanjay spent three years as President of Web Apps, a privately funded enterprise software company that he co-founded. Sanjay also spent five years with Oracle Corporation, based in Redwood Shores, California, in various positions. His roles at Oracle included implementation and support of ERP and Supply Chain solutions for large Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, Motorola, Timex and others.
Prior to Oracle, Sanjay spent a year with HP's Scientific Instruments Division in Palo Alto, California, and spent a number of years in software consulting and IT management for Tata Consultancy Services and the Forbes Marshall Group in India.
Sanjay is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore in India, and is certified by the APICS association as a CPIM.
Rodney Dabagian, CFO
Rodney brings over 20 years of finance and operations experience to Xora. As CFO, Rodney is responsible for overseeing Xora’s global financial initiatives as the company moves to the next level of delivering software as a service.
Prior to Xora, Rodney served as CFO and VP of Operations at Enkata Technologies, a leading provider of on-demand performance and talent management solutions for customer operations. He has also held the position of CFO at Oblix, Inc, a software developer of security software which was acquired by Oracle, and at Vivace Networks, a multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) switch developer for the telecommunications industry that was acquired by Tellabs, Inc.
Rodney also served as Vice President of Finance for Clarify, a leader in the customer relationship management (CRM) software industry, where he helped steer the company toward strong financial results and an acquisition by Nortel Networks for nearly $4B. Prior to Clarify, he was the corporate controller of Onstream Networks, a manufacturer of wide area network (WAN) access devices that was acquired by 3Com.
In addition, Rodney served on the board of a private hand-held communications device company, and on the finance committee for a U.S. Senate re-election campaign.
Rodney holds a B.A. in Political Science from Arizona State University, and a Masters of International Management (M.I.M) from the American Graduate School of International Management.
Robert Juncker, CTO
Rob brings more than 15 years of mobile experience to Xora. He has published
several papers on mobility and co-authored the first published book on the
wireless application protocol in the United States. From the inception of
the mobile industry, Rob has had a passion for plotting its tracks and
keeping a pulse on its future, and his expertise has made him a high-demand
speaker throughout the international mobile community. As CTO, Rob leads
Xora’s innovation engine and overseas product and market vision.
Prior to Xora, Rob was Co-founder and CTO at Gearworks, Inc. where he
architected their SaaS based environment and product offering. He
successfully took the company from creation to over 7,500 customers and
interfaced directly with senior level executives at numerous mobile
operators worldwide.
Prior to Gearworks, Rob was the Software Director for Speech/Language
Technologies at ViA Inc where he was in charge of the software development
team and successfully delivered numerous mission-critical applications to
Fortune 500 organizations.
Rob holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from Carleton College.
Ananth Rani, Senior Vice President of Products and Services
Ananth is a 16 year industry veteran of enterprise software development and implementation. Ananth leads the Products and Services groups, and is a co-founder of Xora. He is responsible for Products, Marketing and Customer Support.
Prior to Xora, Ananth spent several years implementing enterprise software at companies such as Fujitsu, Sun Microsystems and KLA-Tencor. Ananth also worked for Oracle Corporation, where he led projects at Sun Microsystems and Glenayre. While at Sun, he was involved in SunPeak, one of the largest deployments of enterprise software applications. At KLA-Tencor, Ananth led a team in selecting and deploying Product Data Management and CAD systems, and also managed a 1500 user implementation of Oracle Applications. At Sherpa Corporation, Ananth was Lead Project Engineer in Professional Services, involved in the successful deployment of PDM systems.
Ananth has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University in India, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor and has completed coursework in Engineering Management at Stanford University.
Amir Haramaty, Vice President of Sales - Sprint Business Unit
As Vice President of Sales, Amir is responsible for Xora's sales strategy and operations. Amir is a seasoned executive with over 17 years of proven sales leadership experience in selling mobile enterprise software and location based applications to Global 3000 corporations, as well as small and medium businesses.
His successful track record of building high performance sales organizations is uniquely suited to help drive Xora's vision of powering the mobile enteprise. Amir has extensive experience in building and managing sales teams, as well as entering new markets and distribution channels. He is a speaker in various LBS (Location Based Services) forums and is well known within the industry. In addition, he has a keen understanding of International markets for location based applications.
Prior to Xora, Amir spent three years at Nexus Telelocation Systems where he was responsible for global sales and business development. Prior to Nexus, Amir spent several years in positions of increasing leadership and responsibility at Matrix Development, MCE and Rabintex.
Amir has a B.SC in Technology and Management from the University of Maryland and is an Electronics graduate of the ORT Technical Academy in Israel.
Michael Driscoll, Vice President of Sales - Verizon Business Unit
Michael serves as the Vice President for the Verizon Wireless Business Unit. In this role, he is responsible for activities that include planning, forecasting and development of strategies for driving revenue for Xora products and services through Verizon Wireless.
Joining the Xora team in 2006, he has flourished in roles of increasing scope and responsibility. In his duties, Michael has had a passion for excellence and helped drive growth and value for Xora’s products and services through Xora’s channel partners as well as to the customer directly.
Michael is a seasoned industry professional, having over 15 years experience in technology sales and the wireless industry. With proven leadership in direct and channel models, encompassing both Software as a Service (SaaS) and on premise solution delivery, Michael has a successful track record of building sales teams that meet and exceed performance expectations.
Prior to Xora, Michael spent five years at Packeteer, a leading provider of WAN optimization technologies, where he was a world-wide top revenue producer. Before Packeteer, Michael spent several years in sales and management roles at Western Multiplex, Data Transit, and Daly Computers.
Michael holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Shippensburg University.
S. Satishkumar, Vice President of Strategy
Satish has over 13 years of wireless industry experience including 10 years working with various aspects of wireless data solutions. Satish oversees several functional areas including Xora Australia sales operations, US inside sales support, MIS and Product Management in addition to providing operational interface to carriers and other strategic partners.
Prior to Xora, Satish spent three years at Nextel Partners where he had product management and product marketing oversight for wireless data services applications and services. Responsibilities included developing/managing a data services and applications portfolio and building a wireless data sales team. Prior to Nextel Partners, Satish spent over eight years at Ericsson where he had various roles in design, product management, business development and partner management.
Satish has a B.E. in Computer Engineering from University of Bombay in India and an M.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
Pramod Jajoo, MD of India Operations and Vice President of Engineering
Pramod has more than sixteen years of experience in the software industry. He has held various technical and management positions at companies such as Sun Microsystems and Healtheon/WebMD. He is responsible for all aspects of Engineering and Product Development at Xora.
Prior to joining Xora, Pramod was Director of Engineering at HotDispatch, where he was responsible for delivering a highly scalable internet application geared for the technical expertise marketplace. Pramod was also Director of Engineering at Healtheon/WebMD where he was responsible for engineering at the #1 consumer healthcare portal on the Internet. He also held senior engineering and management positions at Healtheon/WebMD building server side applications using CORBA and Microsoft technologies. In addition, Pramod was a Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems where he spent more than six years developing products such as the Sun Debugger and Java Studio and held engineering positions in Sun's programming languages and tools group.
Pramod has an M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and B.S. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. |
