Senior DBA Engineer

Qualifications:

BE/BTech/MTech in Engineering or Computer Science from a reputed university with good academic record
3-5 yrs of Developer Role in a data centric Project.
Very Strong SQL, PLSQL, ANSI SQL skills.
Sound knowledge of Oracle Architecture
Expertise in programming ORACLE and like RDBMS.
Hands on experience with ORACLE 9i Enterprise DBA Basics: Backup and recovery.
Good knowledge of shell scripting Perl or Python other scripting language.
Excellent knowledge of SQL Performance Tuning and related Tools/StatPack Tool is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Team player with good written communication skills.
Exposure to full life-cycle commercial product development environment is highly desirable.
Java Knowledge is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Technical Skills (Mandatory):

Should have profound Oracle Architecture
Experience in SQL, PLSQL, Java, Unix, Perl, Shell.
Experience in TOAD, PLSQL developer.
Strong coding expertise using object-oriented methodologies.
Oracle/Third Party tools to performance monitoring/enhancement.
Knowledge of Configuration Management and Bug tracking tools.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for development, execution, debugging of code to support all the Xora products.
Constant Tuning, and upgradation of Code for higher Scalability of application.
Responsible for bug fixes for ongoing development.
Analyze newer Technologies and discover new Planes.

Additional Requirements:

Exp. in oracle installation and general concepts on databases.
TCP/IP Protocols concepts will be an added advantage.
