Manager, Sales Operations

We deliver the industry standard location-based mobile workforce management solutions that allow our customers to realize improved productivity, reduce the cost of field operations and provide world-class customer service.
As Manager, you will:
- Report to the VP of Strategic Programs.
- Manage the activities of the sales operations function, using knowledge
of company products, services, support and technology.
- Work closely with the Sales,
MIS and Finance departments to develop and administer the company’s pipeline
and sales forecast.
- Maintain relationships with field sales personnel to ensure
timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submissions and current pipeline data.
- Administer policies to ensure the integrity of the data.
- Perform analysis
for the Sales department performance by sales rep, territories, channels, and
programs.
- Develop fact based recommendations and present them to the sales
team and leadership team of the company, and influence the process for improvements
in performance.
- Manage the commission process, and partner with the finance
team for improvements.

Responsibilities include:
- Analysis & Reporting: Develop key drivers and indicators
of performance metrics for various functional areas of the organization.
- Customer Relationship Management – Implement a company wide
CRM system for tracking and managing sales activity.
- Sales Analysis – Analyze sales by location, channel, service type, sales
representative, product offering and account type. Provide recommendations based
on analysis for areas of improvement.
- Track and report on activity across sales, marketing and support functions
- Churn analysis – Analyze end user customer churn and provide recommendations
for improvement.
- Financial reporting – Partner with Finance, and Information Technology to
develop a standard set of reporting needs for the sales team and the leadership
team. The reporting should be on monthly and quarterly data and focus on key
indicators and drivers that predict future trends and should provide information
pro-actively that can be used to make decisions to ensure maximum growth and
performance. Partner with Finance and MIS to provide timely reporting of commissions.
- Other Operating Metrics - Generate more efficient sources of information
and reporting processes as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in business, technology or related field
- Strong proficiency with Excel – advanced functions, modeling, and analysis.
- Excellent communication (verbal and non-verbal), presentation & interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure, to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to prioritize.
- Should be creative, a self-starter, team player, fast learner, detail oriented, and conscientious.
- Technical background or aptitude to understand and leverage capabilities/limitations of the reporting platform.
- Willing to work across time zones and interface with the global sales and MIS teams.
