Gearworks Adds Veteran Executives to Support Growth

MINNEAPOLIS — Dec. 15, 2008 — Gearworks, a leading provider of location-based mobile business applications, today announced it has made several recent additions to its executive team in support of the company’s continued growth. Gearworks was recently recognized by CJ Driscoll and Associates as the “fastest growing handset-based mobile resource management (MRM) company.”

Dave Litwak has joined Gearworks as senior vice president of sales and carrier development. Previously he served as vice president and general manager for the Sprint Business Unit at Good Technology, now part of Motorola, where he was responsible for sales and marketing strategies for their mobile messaging software through the Sprint channel.Under Litwak’s leadership, Good Technology made significant market share gains within the Sprint channel and closed numerous flagship enterprise accounts. Prior to Good Technology, Litwak served as senior vice president of sales for MarketLive and also held senior sales roles at Manugistics.

Nanci Anderson has joined Gearworks as vice president of service delivery and customer operations. She previously served as vice president of customer operations at Gelco (acquired by Concur) – a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of enterprise expense management solutions. Anderson also held senior customer service and support positions at enterprise software companies Cognos Corporation and Lawson Software.

Steve Snyder has joined the company as chief financial officer. He formerly served as Xiotech Corporation’s chief financial officer and general manager of the company’s largest operating division and played a pivotal role in the company’s corporate growth and acquisitions strategies. Prior to Xiotech, he served as the chief financial officer and corporate secretary for Ancor Communications (aquired by QLogic) and served as corporate controller for Cray Research.
