Position Type: Full-time

Experience: 2-4 years

Job Description:

Design, develop, and optimize server side components of our large-scale hosted service.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop MIS reports as per the specifications provided using report designer tools
  • To develop and maintain Java application
  • Documentation
  • Produce high quality work without much supervision and on-time delivery
  • Support deployment of applications into production and resolve production issues by reproducing and determining the root cause

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science or related field from a reputed university with good academic record
  • 2.5 to -4 years of progressive industry experience
  • 2+ years software product development experience in Java
  • Have a high level of design skills and a broad understanding of various technologies
  • Strong experience in N-tier e-Business applications using Jboss, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript and Oracle
  • Strong understanding of database design and SQL development
  • Expertise in writing SQL’s Necessary to pull data for reports from Oracle database
  • Knowledge of DATA models, XML, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of any BI suits (Pentaho), Data warehousing and ETL tools is desirable
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Disciplined self-starter, able to be highly productive both working alone and in close collaboration within a team

Qualifications and Skills Desired:

  • 2.5 to 4+ years software product development experience with 2+ years in Java
  • Understanding of Web 2.0 technologies and standards
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task
  • Experience building high-performance large-scale systems
