Xora CEO Anne Bonaparte Will Address Mobile Computing Summit On How Smartphones Change Mobile Enterprise Apps
Mountain View, California, June 27, 2011 – Xora, Inc., a global leader in mobile enterprise applications that turn any wireless mobile device into a productivity tool, today announced that President and CEO Anne Bonaparte will speak on how smartphones are changing the functionality and landscape of mobile enterprise apps at the first annual Mobile Computing Summit. The event will take place June 28-30 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Burlingame, California.
The Mobile Computing Summit will provide an interactive venue for practical discussions of the use of mobility technology in enterprises. The conference will include workshops, tutorials, presentations, panels, expert tables, market research, keynotes, and exhibits. Bonaparte will speak on Tuesday, June 28 from 10:00-11:40 a.m. in a session on best practices for mobilizing applications chaired by Andrew Borg, Senior Research Analyst, Wireless & Mobility, at Aberdeen Group. Other speakers will include Naeem Zafar, President & CEO of Bitzer Mobile, and Peter Price, Co-Founder & CEO of Webalo.
“Smartphones now make up more than half of all wireless handheld device purchases by businesses,” said Bonaparte. “Now pervasive in the enterprise, smartphones create new demand for applications that take advantage of their advanced features to streamline work processes for employees who spend the majority of their workday in the field.”
Bonaparte will draw from Xora’s extensive customer base to provide examples of how enterprises from field service to transportation to home health care are using smartphones and mobile enterprise apps to revolutionize how they serve their customers and clients.
